Have A Low Profile Car? – Build A Car Ramp To Fit Your Vehicle Build A Diy Car Ramp To View Underneath Your Vehicle Glad I found this group, maybe some people can relate to my story. ![]() So I have always skated Powell Peralta back then and now. Those days my friends and I would watch skate videos all day. I got back into skating about one year ago at age 49! I skated heavily in the later 80's thru the mid 90's just about everyday (all day too) unless is was raining. I like to just ride over small debris when necessary, plus the speed you get from bigger wheels and some good Swiss Ceramic bearings is a rush to me. I just dont get why small wheels are the norm anymore? If I were to run over a penny, I would probably slam. I would rather shred a mini ramp made out of wood. So I like bigger wheels much better as I am not into technical tricks. We used bigger wheels back in the day as that was the norm. I really cannot ride any wheels smaller than a 60mm. I think I might honestly like the Tensor trucks better. I have the hollow Indys and Tensor Mag Light trucks. My first deck back into skating was a Powell Peralta Flight deck (JM Duran) with P/P Soft Slide 75A 66mm wheels. I can still ride real good at some nice speeds. I cannot ollie, as I have a lower back injury, thus the reason looking for an obstacle that I can ride coping without having to ollie. I dont have the saws and stuff to try and do it myself nor do I have the experience.Īlso, I would want an 8 foot slappy stick, 4 feet is too small because you are approaching this obstacle at an angle (for the most part) I guess 4 feet is better than nothing though. Trying to find a local carpenter that could replicate this as close as possible but no luck so far. I was also considering ordering a Slap stick, but wayyy too expensive. You can post your videos, give and receive tips on tricks you're having difficulty with, your new board setup and anything else you find relevant. If it doesn't make sense to specify an age just put. ![]() Note: There is no age restriction as long as you are not posting your skating footage. (it should be the last thing, no periods after it). You did not place the tag at the end of the title. You did not enclose tag in square brackets. You forgot to include YO in your age tag after age number. ![]() Therefore, all my post titles this birthday year will be followed by the following: Your post should contain the following tag at the end, where age is your current age in numbers.įor example, I am 38 years old. If you are less than and want to post your skating footage please use communities which are more appropriate (ex: r/skateboarding). This is implemented by design to allow the younger skaters to interact with the older skaters but not make the subreddit pointless. Your post will be removed if it violates this rule. There is no age restriction as long as you are not posting your skating footage (videos or photos). If you are a new old skater you are in the right place as well. This subreddit is for the older skaters (anyone above 30). ![]()
